TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For school visits, fees may be applied in some museums like Sharjah Science Museum, Sharjah Discovery Centre and Sharjah Aquarium. For more information please contact the museum directly.
Fill the Booking Form with your selected programme and send it two weeks prior to your visit through our website www.SharjahMuseums.ae.
All museums can accommodate a maximum of 30 students per visit. The reservation will be cancelled if the number of students exceeds the capacity.
If you wish to book for more than 30 students per visit, please inform the museum in advance.
School groups who arrive at the museum without prior booking may be turned away if the museum is unable to accommodate the group. The decision is at the discretion of the museum staff.
An accompanying teacher/adult for every 10 students is required during the visit.
Teachers will be requested to fill the evaluation form electronically for developmental purposes.
School visits will be photographed for marketing and archive purposes.If you don’t wish to be photographed,please inform the museum staff through a written letter.
In case of visits from students with different disabilities, all workshops are limited to 15 attendees (including caregivers) except for workshops that are designed for people with autism; they are limited to 6 attendees.
Students should not be left without caregivers in galleries or workshops’ areas.
Kindly, specify the type of disability and cognitive age in the booking form in order to provide the suitable activities and materials.
Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) reserves the right to request misbehaving students to leave the museum premises if they pose a threat to the exhibits or to others.
